After I completed 6 weeks of similar sessions at Watch House Cross Community Library in Limerick I thought that giving this type of introduction to computers in Nenagh would benefit people in the North Tipperary town.
Being able to help people get to grips with computers, helping them understand the do’s and don’t of the internet has proven very benefitical for these individuals. Some, before attending, were not able to use a mouse confidently and by the end of the 4th week are able to navigate the internet and find what they want. I have 2 more weeks to complete and I think that with more help from others we may beable to extend this help. Time will tell.
With demand high for this type of introduction to computers in Nenagh and in these difficult financial times, it’s important to try and give back something to the community of value, it gives me personal satisfaction and generally helps people get what they want to get out of it.
